+farm to fork

The farm to fork project has become a common, and now frankly overdone, foodie theme, so when I was asked by a company to follow and photograph the production of the food for their annual fundraising dinner I agreed on the one condition that it be comprehensive. Fortunately, the Good Food Collective prides itself on its relationships with local farmers and sustainable methods, clearing the way for me to document the true farm to fork process by following an individual pig from the pasture, through the slaughterhouse, to the butchers, to kitchen and ultimately to the fork.
