The Farm to Fork projects were commissioned by an Upstate New York community-supported agriculture group to document how the food they sold went from the farm to the fork.
For the second project, I followed a head of cauliflower from a small family farm in East Aurora, New York, through harvesting, transporting, cooking and eating.
The series was featured at a harvest feast in 2012, where the last photograph (the fork) was shot, quickly printed, framed and hung in the exhibit. The subject was then eaten.
